Venus Retrograde

The planet Venus will be in retrograde motion from 8th October until 19th November 2010.  Venus has long been associated with style, relationship and financial luck according to western astrology.  When Venus features prominently in your horoscope, you generally tend to look better, exude charisma, get a great haircut, purchase a fabulous new wardrobe and demonstrate a better sense of taste and style.  When Venus is in retrograde motion, (around every 18 months), relationships and finances can get tricky and may require extra work and restructuring.  A Venus retrograde period is a time for introspection and re-examining your priorities and goals in regard to relationships and your finances.

Try to avoid organising big romantic social events, redecorating your home or investing in a radical new wardrobe or image changes when Venus is in retrograde motion.  This is the time when you should be re-examining your current relationships and working through unresolved issues, because the rose coloured glasses will come off and provide you with a more realistic view of your relationships and the areas that may require additional attention.  The Venus retrograde period can also highlight your internal relationship with yourself (ie self esteem, personal priorities, self confidence and your secret aspirations).
